The show was an instant success when it debuted in 2008 and went on for three series as well as two films.

Unsurprisingly the stars of the show made megabucks off the back of its popularity but it’s not just the four main actors who have reaped the benefits.

Greg Davies, who played teacher Mr Gilbert, has netted millions and latest accounts for his firm Wemboy Productions Ltd reveal that it has £3,709,650 equity, including £1,797M in “fixed asset investments”, likely to be property.

It also paid £336,982 in tax last year, which at a 19 per cent rate, would suggest it made over £1.7M in 2023.

Simon, 40, is the top of the four main “schoolboy” characters. His firm OPK Ltd has £2,461,871 in equity and paid £80,974 tax, which suggests earnings of £426k last year.

James, 37, has his own firm Itchycoo Ltd, which has £445,810 in reserves and raked in approximately £440k in 2023, based on the £83k tax it paid.

Joe, 40, and Blake, 39, – who play Simon and Neil respectively – fortunes are harder to decipher.

Blake hasn’t got an active firm set up, his only business Ginger Goat was dissolved in February 2022.

While Joe’s Hogas Productions Ltd has £26,653 in reserves – its accounts are brief, so there’s no other information.

I was on the Inbetweeners – taking my family to the seaside is a total nightmare, people always shout out the same things

Emily Atack – who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe – has her own company Twin Soul Ltd which has in £354,990 equity – and made £363k last year based on it paying £69k in tax.

But it’s been reported Emily could miss out on taking part in any new project after her ex James was accused of axing her from the reunion.

Off-screen she had “a couple of snogs” with the Jay Cartwright actor , who is said to have blocked her from taking part in the 10th anniversary reunion in 2019.

A source at the time told The Sun: “Emily got a call from producers 24 hours before she was due on set.

“They were deeply embarrassed and apologetic. They had to explain that James had asked she be taken off the show.”
