Sept. 1 (UPI) — Russian military said Sunday 158 Ukrainian drones targeted Russia, including two energy facilities, and they were all intercepted and destroyed.
Ukraine has not commented on the claims.

Kiev Independent reported targeted areas also were Tver, Voronezh, Tula, Kaluga, Bryansk, Belgorod, Lipetsk and Kursk, according to local officials.
Fires were reported at the Moscow oil refinery and the Konakovo power station in the Tver region, one of the largest energy producers in central Russia.Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at least nine drones were downed in the capital region, according to TASS.
“Two more enemy UAVs attacking Moscow have been downed in the Ramensky Municipal District,” Sobyanin said.

About 75 miles from the Russian capital, in the Tver region, blasts were heard close to the Konakovo Power Station.
The region’s governor, Igor Rudenya, said a fire caused by an attack in Konakovsky district had been contained, without providing details.
