GMB bosses have shared the throwback images ahead of Susanna Reid‘s return to the studio on Monday.

The presenter, 53, is the lead star of the show and fronts programme on rotation with Adil Ray, Richard Madeley and Ed Balls.

In her throwback snap, showing her sitting in her garden as a little girl, Susanna revealed she wasn’t great at sport – but didn’t give up.

She said: “I went to three schools – and enjoyed those days. I wasn’t great at sport but I’d sometimes throw myself into competitions even though I wasn’t the same standard as the girls who were good.

“I watched the Australian breakdancer at the Olympics with an air of awkward recognition.”

Charlotte Hawkins shared her adorable younger self posing for a school picture.

She said: “This photo is from primary school, I think I must have been around 6. I loved school back then, and made some really good friends.

“The message I would tell my younger self is don’t worry, keep working hard and you will get that dream job!”

Dressed in his football kit in his back garden, Richard Madeley reflects: “If I was speaking to my younger self who was just about to start a career in television, which was like 46 years ago, I would tell my younger self ‘don’t take yourself seriously’ and I have applied that actually for quite a long time now.”

Good Morning Britain’s Adil Ray left gobsmacked as Hollywood star reveals her ‘real age’

Looking back on his cheeky smile, Adil Ray said: “I remember when it was Eid, the teacher would let me explain what Eid is to the class and I remember taking Indian sweets in and sharing them with everybody.

“So in that way, primary school was really quite positive.”

Entertainment reporter Richard Arnold looked swagger in his leather black jacket from his teenage days.

He said: “I had some cracking teachers – especially when we moved to Scotland when I was 11 years-old. What would I tell my younger self? Enjoy stretch denim whilst you can.”
