HIP-HOP legend Fatman Scoop was rushed to hospital on Friday night after collapsing on-stage mid-performance.
Terrifying footage appeared to show the star being given CPR on stage while attendees screamed in confusion.
The rapper, real name Issac Freeman, was performing a set at the Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut when the terrifying incident occurred.
Freeman appeared to be behind the DJ booth before passing out on stage in a video obtained by TMZ.
Another performer stopped the music and continued to talk to the crowd as emergency responders performed chest compressions.
Attendees expressed their concern, screaming at the performers asking if the artist was okay.
“Nothing going on – on the stage. I just want to say this – Hamden, where y’all at, make some noise for me please,” another performer was heard telling the crowd in the video.
Authorities were dispatched to the concert and transported him to a nearby hospital.
Hamden’s mayor, Lauren Garrett confirmed that Freeman was the performer in the hospital on social media.
