The recent post read: “New Maynard’s Beetlejuice Spooky Gums spotted online at Home Bargains!”

Accompanying the post is an image of the sweet which features Beetlejuice branding and packaging that reads “only in cinemas”.

Over 150 have left comments on the post which has garnered a whopping 500 likes.

One foodie said: “Could be a gamechanger this badboy”, while another tagged a mate into prospective plans: “for Halloween”.

Another added: “I’m going to make Halloween candy salad”, and a different user dubbed them “spooky”.

They are currently listed on the website for £1.35.

This follows the bad news revealed by a Sun exclusive – that tangy Wine Gums were discontinued.

This sparked major upset and sadness from fans of the sour sweets.

The bitter treats were the subject of rave reviews after their release in 2017, but The Sun has learnt they have been quietly shelved due to “changing tastes”.

One customer asked maker Maynards Bassetts on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Have you discontinued Tangy Wine Gums? My dad is devastated he can’t find any anywhere. It’s all he talks about.”

People are just realising how jelly beans are made – and it’s not good

Another added: “If I ever get a ‘make-a-wish’, I’m going to use it to bring back tangy wine gums.”

But it’s not just bad news for sweet-lovers – a new Tic Tac flavour hit the shelves of UK stores in early July.

Sweet-toothed shoppers were raving over the unusual flavour of the fan-favourite candy.

Tic Tac, the iconic mint brand, has released a unique flavour to commemorate the festival season.

The firm unveiled its new mint packed with cherry, juicy lemon and pink lemonade flavours.

The bright pink limited edition flamingo cherry lemonade flavour will be available for a limited time during summer months.

The firm said that the candies will still maintain its signature refreshing taste while bursting with sweet flavours.

Gemma Mattison, marketing director at Tic Tac said: “We are constantly looking at new ways to excite our consumers and this new flavour is perfect for those looking for a fresh hit this summer.”

The treat is retailing for £1.70 and comes in a pack of 49g and 18g. It’s not clear yet which shops will stock the sweets.
