YOU can now rent a massive mansion right by the gates of Disney World – with three-storey space rocket and 12 bedrooms.
The house, named Morlando and in the gated community of Reunion Resort, sleeps a whopping 40 guests.
But with so much to see inside, you won’t want to do much sleeping.
Behind a secret door in the kitchen, there is an ‘out of this world’ laser tag room with a three-story high interactive spaceship inside it.
Guests can clamber across bridges, slides and three levels of the space ship itself, shooting targets to collect points.
Once a high score has been achieved, the rocket will begin to ‘launch’ complete with sound, light and smoke effects.
As well as the immersive fun and games, the 16,000sq ft home also has a huge lagoon pool with two slides and two hot tubs, nestled behind a waterfall.
The enormous open-plan kitchen is a dream in itself, complete with its own service kitchen, should you bring your own staff to cook for you during your stay.
There is also a fully equipped gym and a saloon bar for the big kids to enjoy once the littles are in bed.
The 12 en-suite bedrooms sleep 40 guests, and there are even bunk beds in the rocket for kids.
You can rent the property with Jeeves Florida Rentals and is the biggest, most expensively-designed home in their extensive portfolio.
While it doesn’t come cheap if you want it to yourself – starting from just over £2,000 a night – this is obviously a fraction of the price if you can find 39 people to join you.
The desire for mega homes like Morlando began with a simple idea by Jeeves to design themed bedrooms for kids as a way to make their Florida visit more magical.
Erich Neugebauer from Dreamport Studios, who created the Rocket Room and other immersive games rooms for Jeeves’ homes, says the desire for immersive houses has grown alongside the theme parks, which are constantly evolving to new, groundbreaking experiences.
Erich, who has a Disney background, said: “Guests now are seeking another level of interaction and interactive spaces.
“What started as wall murals and bunk beds with slides, has evolved to homes like Morlando and its rocket.”
This is his largest independent project to date and he acknowledges that homes like this are now becoming a destination in themselves.
Despite having your own luxury pad and private pool, this home and others in the Kissimmee area are not far from the action.
The Morlando house is just 15-minutes from Walt Disney World and 25-minutes from Universal Orlando Resort.
You are also close to many Brit Florida favourites like The Florida Mall, Gatorland, Old Town Kissimmee and Boggy Creek, where you can ride an airboat through the everglades.
Getting there is simple too, it’s only 25-minutes from Orlando International Airport.
While you sleep like a rock star, there’s no doubt this area is a celeb hot spot.
Olivia Rodrigo treated her GUTS show crew to a day at Walt Disney World during a break in her world tour.
Gigi Hadid was also spotted in town recently, as well as Emma Bunton, Jon Bon Jovi and the Beckham family.
You never know, they might even be staying in the home next door.
Use these tips on your next theme park trip
Next time you visit a theme park, you may want to use our top tips to make the most of your adrenaline-inducing day out.
- Go to the back of the theme park first. Rides at the front will have the longest queues as soon as it opens.
- Go on water rides in the middle of the day in the summer – this will cool you off when the sun is at its hottest.
- Download the park’s app to track which rides have the shortest queues.
- Visit on your birthday, as some parks give out “birthday badges” that can get you freebies.
- If it rains, contact the park. Depending on how much it rained, you may get a free ticket to return.
With mega mansions like this, anything is possible.
