HT: Chelsea 1-2 Real Madrid

It’s all been a bit frantic, fast-paced with plenty of chances – so exactly what we’d want!

Chelsea were bright going forward but pretty dire defensively and probably were lucky to only concede twice in the first half.

They went behind when Lucas’ deflected shot spun away from Jorgensen into the net before more poor defending saw Brahim Diaz double the lead on 27 minutes.

To their credit, Chelsea created plenty of chances themselves with Raheem Sterling blowing a couple of those.

But Enzo Fernandez’s cross with just over five minutes left of the half was headed home by Noni Madueke at the back post. The Chelsea winger looking sharp in that half and deserved that goal.

There’ll be plenty more goals in this second half, too….

Half time
