FANS love Laura Woods “entering the mummy era” as much as she does.
The popular sports presenter looked blissful in three sun-tinged pictures she posted from the Paris Olympics.
It was the day mountain-biker Tom Pidcock proved he’s a generational talent with a remarkable second successive Games gold.
And Laura marked her own upcoming new “generation” by proudly looking forward to parenthood.
The Eurosport, ITV and TNT Sports broadcaster publicly announced her pregnancy with partner Adam Collard last week.
And she enchanted her social media followers again as she wore a beaming smile, black waist-coat and crisp white blouse in pictures she shared alongside an excited message from the French capital.
Laura wrote: “Entering the mummy era” – followed by thanks to her make-up team and a plea for viewers to watch her Eurosport show.
One fan told her: “If you’re as good of a mum as you are at your TV work, your little one is going to be Very lucky indeed. All the best Woodsy.”
Another wrote: “The Mummy era suits you perfectly.”
Other verdicts included: “Angelic”… You look amazing!” … “Absolute beauty” … and “Gorgeous!”
One viewer suggested Laura is already “appearing very maternal”.
“The Mummy era suits you perfectly,” suggested another.
Meanwhile, this post seemed to speak for many: “You’ll smash motherhood like you did the talkSPORT breakfast show and everything else you’ve done. Good luck to you and Adam.
And certainly, if Team GB finish the Games looking as happy as Laura, it could mean a momentous medal haul!
