LOVE Island fans have been left fearing a fan-favourite part of the show has been axed.
Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media as they noticed a crucial part of the format was missing so close to the final.
Typically the remaining couples get to enjoy romantic dates under the Majorca stars.
Bosses always splash out on the segment – with couples enjoying hot air balloon rides, luxury yacht dates as well as lavish helicopter rides.
But as host Maya Jama entered the villa and announced to the remaining couples that dumped islanders would choose their fate in the villa, viewers noticed the dates were unlikely to happen.
Taking to social media, one Love Island fan said: “So there’s no big final dates, Where’s the budget gone?”
A second wrote: “So there’s no EPIC dates outside the villa this year? Just poxy dates in the main villa. That is such a let down.”
“No wonder there were no proper final dates, they blew the budget on flying all the islanders back,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “So there’s budget to repeat this gimmick of bringing back old islanders, but not for better challenges or dates…interesting!”
Meanwhile, Maya, 29, appears to have put her split behind her as she struts into the villa in the plunging little number and a pair of strappy heels.
Revealing which couples are vulnerable, Maya said: “Today, one final couple will be dumped from the Villa ending their Love Island journey and that decision isn’t in your hands.”
Jessy and Joey received the most votes from the ex-islanders and were immediately dumped from the villa.
