Judd Trump needs only two more frames to reach the Shanghai Masters final after taking an 8-1 lead over Ronnie O’Sullivan in the semi-final.
Trump, the world number two and 2019 world champion, made three consecutive century breaks as well as a 91, 82 and 71, winning six frames in a row to end the session.
Seven-time world champion O’Sullivan has won the previous four Shanghai Masters.
