FORMER President Donald Trump is set to speak at the Republican National Convention for the first time tonight since the assassination attempt on his life Saturday.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was able to climb a roof at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday that had a clear view of former President Trump.
Crooks fired eight rounds bloodying the former president’s ear as he was escorted away by Secret Service agents.
Trump has officially signed the paperwork to accept the GOP nomination and is expected to take the RNC stage tonight at 9:09 pm CT.
Other guests who spoke tonight include Tucker Carlson, Hulk Hogan, Dana White, Alina Habba, and more.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is in disarray after it has been revealed President Biden has tested positive for Covid-19.
Former President Barack Obama believes Biden’s “path to victory has greatly diminished and he thinks the president needs to seriously consider the viability of his candidacy,” according to the Washington Post.

Eric Trump promises to the middle-class workers and families who can’t afford health benefits anymore that his father Donald Trump will make America great again.
“America will be respected, our cities will be clean, and once again our border will be secure,” Eric says.
“We will no longer be 30th in the world we will be first.”
A thunderous “USA” chant rings out throughout the arena.

Former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan is delivering his speech now.
Hogan starts his speech with his famous catchphrase.
“Well let me tell you something brother,” Hogan says.
He jokes that the energy in the building was like when he was going to fight at Madison Square Garden.

We have a delay
Hulk Hogan was supposed to speak around 10 minutes ago but has yet to take the podium.
The former professional wrestler and Trump have been friends for decades.
Hogan recently expressed his support for Trump, 78, following the attempted assassination at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday that left the former president bloodied.
“Today’s events in Butler, Pennsylvania are deeply disturbing,” Hogan wrote on Instagram.
“No President, past or present, should face such a horrific act.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with President Trump, law enforcement, and the Secret Service who bravely protect and uphold our shared values.”

Comperatore was killed while shielding his family from gunfire at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Tucker Carlson speaks
Television host and political commentator Tucker Carlson is giving his speech at the Republican National Convention.
He says everything is “different” now after the assassination attempt on the former president.
“This convention is different, Donald Trump is different,” Carlson says.
Carlson did not use a teleprompter for his speech and revealed “I don’t have a script.”

Trump’s attorney takes podium
Alina Habba who works as Donald Trump’s attorney shares a story about how after she left court someone yelled to her “God Bless you and Donald Trump.”
She revealed she was on the phone with the former president and he asked to talk to the person and thank them for their support.
Trump was convicted on May 30, 2024, and became the first U.S. president to become a convicted felon.
