KATIE Price has revealed that her brand new book has been forced to carry a warning as a result of its traumatic content.
The 46-year-old is expected to get deeply personal in the warts-and-all autobiography.
Katie has suffered her fair share of trauma over the years, including stints in The Priory, and she is expected to divulge about some of her struggles in detail for the very first time.
Her new book is expected to contain that many shocking details that the mum-of-five has been forced to slap a warning at the beginning of the first chapter.
The book titled This Is Me is due for release later this month with Katie revealing the first details to The Sun during the red carpet launch party for Channel 4‘s coverage of the Paralympic Games.
Katie told The Sun: “There’s actually a warning at the beginning of the book that you could get PTSD from reading it, because it’s quite a serious book.”
She went on to further add that writing down her traumatic moments on paper had helped her to deal with some of the scary situations she had found herself in.
Katie added: “I’m just glad I’ve got the past behind me.
“This year will be my year and then it’s gone from there.
“You’ll see in the book, I’ve had lots of changes in my life. And I don’t know when you’re positive, everything else just comes with it.
“People now see really what I’ve been through and hopefully they will realise I am a human being, not a product and I do have feelings.”
Katie has previously admitted she has suffered from PTSD herself amid her new book’s warning.
Katie was originally diagnosed with co-morbid post-traumatic stress disorder in 2018 and entered The Priory for 28 days to treat it.
At the time her mother Amy said: “Kate has been her own worst enemy and behaved like an idiot at times but she has been tearing herself apart for years.”
Amy, who has a terminal lung condition, also heaped blame on her daughter’s critics on social media.
She added: “To see what Katie is going through and how she has been treated hurts me and my family.
“No mum or dad wants to see their child treated like this, watch as they crumble, and feel powerless to help. It’s unbearable.
“She is constantly judged on her kids, her home, work, financial situation, the way she looks, how she dresses and what she does.
