SHOPPERS are racing to get their hands on a “banging” new sprite flavour released in time for summer.

Fizzy drink fanatics have rushed to Facebook to share their excitement over the new soda.

The popular Facebook group Newfoodsuk posted a picture of the new product, causing a stir online.

The post was captioned: “New Cherry Lime Sprite. Flavours are amazing, the cherry with the lime is spot on!

“We got this from Uk website WorldSnacksuk.”

The post racked up more than 170 comments and received more than 400 likes.

One person wrote: “Can’t wait to try,” while another said: “Need to try this.”

A third added: “It’s not a want it’s a need” and a fourth questioned: “Will it be as nice the raspberry and lemon one though?”

And a fourth shared: “This sounds banging.”

The tasty drink can be purchased online from Ebay, King’s Candy, World Snacks UK, Dunipace Village Store and several other stores.

At Dunipace Village Store the drinks cost £1.59 a can and at King’s Candy they sell for a slightly steeper price of £1.79.

It comes as Asda hoppers are going wild for a new quirky dinner staple that’s “fab for garlic bread.”

The unique product has caused a stir as shoppers flock to Facebook to share their reaction.

Popular Facebook group, Newfoodsuk, posted a snap of a Garlic & Herb Grated Cheese Blend and it whipped the internet into a frenzy.

The picture was captioned: “First time trying this cheese from Asda and omg, it’s amazing,” and it racked up a whopping 6,000 comments and 5,700 likes.

The comments section was filled by excited cheese fanatics.
