The 30-year-old, who is 5ft 11in and weighs 350lbs, used to struggle with self-acceptance when she was growing up.

She had to endure the heartache of vile trolls branding her a “whale”.

But now, after learning to express her femininity and reclaim her confidence, Alex is spreading a message of body positivity to help others who may be also insecure about their dress size.

And the plus size model is flaunting her curves in skimpy bikinis this summer, no matter what anyone else thinks.

“My favourite styles are two-piece bikinis and monokinis, as they make me feel confident and empowered,” Alex said.

“These choices aren’t just about fashion, but about reclaiming ownership of my body and celebrating its strength and beauty.

Your body is beautiful exactly as it is

“To anyone feeling self-conscious about wearing a bikini, I want them to know that they deserve to enjoy the sun and the beach just as much as anyone else.

“Don’t let society’s narrow beauty standards hold you back.

“Wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable; whether it’s a bikini, monokini or any other style.

“Your body is beautiful exactly as it is.”

I’m plus-size, a 36GG, & tried that viral jumpsuit – I’m genuinely shook at the fit, my jaw dropped when I saw my booty

Alex, from Miami, Florida, US, previously hit the headlines after releasing a song about plus-size women to help them feel “sexy” in their own skin.

But there are still people who cannot accept her positive attitude.

She added: “Unfortunately, I still encounter hurtful comments, both in person and online.

“People have made cruel remarks about my size and appearance, suggesting that I should cover up or hide.”

“It’s disheartening, but I’ve learned to prioritise my own happiness and self-worth over the negativity of others,” she explained.

“Initially, these comments hurt deeply, but I refuse to let them define or dictate how I live my life.

“Instead, I focus on the positivity and support I receive from my community and use it as fuel to continue advocating for body positivity and self-love.”

Now Alex intends to keep spreading her message to challenge conventional beauty standards in society and to help people realise that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
