Rashford link to PSG reignited

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford might yet be targeted by Paris Saint-Germain.

TtalkSPORT reckon the French champions will consider coming in for the England ace following Kylian Mbappe’s departure to his long-term suitors Real Madrid.

Rashford has insisted he wants to bounce back from his eight-goal season and prove his commitment to childhood club United.

And PSG have previously denied suggestions they are interested in the 26-year-old, who missed out on a place in England’s Euro 2024 squad.

But talkSPORT say the Parisians’ boss Luis Enrique is ready to weigh up an approach for Rashford.

From ‘hating Arsenal’ to ‘Keane Gunner’?!

Manchester United legend Roy Keane was spotted wearing an ARSENAL shirt while covering Euro 2024 in Germany, writes EMILLIA HAWKINS.

Keane, 52, spent 12 years with the Red Devils from 1993 to 2005 and firmly established himself as a fan favourite.

He won 17 trophies during his time at Old Trafford, making him one of United’s most decorated players. However, he appeared to briefly change allegiances while out in Germany.

Keane was seen wearing an Arsenal shirt when arriving at a studio in Germany, leaving Gunners legend Ian Wright utterly stunned.

“It suits you,” Wrighty said. “Man United fans are gonna do their nut!”

Keane then brandished a matching shirt but with ‘Wright 8’ written on the back. The former Republic of Ireland midfielder previously admitted he hated Arsenal during his playing days.

He said: “I had a lot of hatred for Arsenal because they were big rivals. I can’t think of any other word that springs to mind when when I was going into battle with Arsenal. Hatred was the word.

“Usually when you play football one or two players you like but I don’t remember liking anybody at Arsenal.”

Prem giants queueing for Teun?

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea could all launch bids for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

The 21-cap Dutchman, 26, missed out on the Euros due to injury.

But reports in Italy suggest Koopmeiners has been valued by his Serie A club at around £50million.

Tutto Atalanta have named three Prem clubs who they believe could “easily” afford the former AZ Alkmaar ace.

Koopmeiners is highly rated for his versatility – being able to play anywhere across the centre.

But last term he excelled in an attacking midfield role.

He notched 17 goals and five assists as Atalanta came fifth in the Italian top flight.

Chelsea in for Man Utd target Kiernan’

Chelsea could have stolen a march on Manchester United in the hunt for Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The Blues have reportedly made contact with the newly-promoted Foxes over the uncapped Englishman, 25.

Brighton and Brentford are also said to be monitoring the Leicester academy product.

Lingsard breaks 3-year goal drought

Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has scored his first goal in nearly three years.

The ex-England star netted a penalty in South Korean side FC Seoul’s 2-0 victory over Gangwon.

The 31-year-old gave his side the lead in the 56th minute before Ryu Jae-moon secured the points.

It was Lingard’s 10th appearance for Seoul after he arrived at the club on a free transfer in February.

Despite the 67,000-capacity Seoul World Cup Stadium being only half full, the crowd found their voice after Lingard’s opener.

Fireworks also went off behind the goal as he celebrated with his teammates.

Lingard had last scored in September 2021 via a late winner for United at West Ham – with whom he shone on loan the previous season

Could Red Devils turn to Toney?

Manchester United might show interest in Ivan Toney if they fail to land Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee.

That’s the claim from GIVEMESPORT after Brentford’s star man was also linked to possible bids from Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Gunners and AC Milan are also understood to be eying 23-year-old Bologna hero Zirkzee.

And if the Dutchman does not switch to the Premier League, it could spark a wider fight for Toney, who is in Germany hoping to break into England’s Euro 2024 plans.
