The 27-year-old was rushed to hospital after being stabilised at the scene by emergency medical responders.

It was not immediately clear this morning if he was holidaying at the flat in the Majorcan capital Palma he fell from or lived at the address.

The alarm was raised just before midnight yesterday.

Local reports said the injured man told police before he was taken to the island’s Son Espases Hospital that he had consumed cocaine and ketamine.

Neighbours saw him leaning out of a window twice before he plunged to the ground head-first.

National Police in Ibiza are conducting an ongoing investigation into the fall, which is being treated at this stage as an accident.
