There’s another reason shoppers are racing to Primark this week, and it’s all because of a folding storage trolley.
The store in Argyle Street took to TikTok to share a look at the £18 bargain, which they noted could be useful for “cleaners and make-up artists”, or as a “toy box”, for “picnics” or to store “stationery”.
In the video, they showed the folding storage trolley in light blue, as they demonstrated how it folded and opened up, as well as how the lid slides down inside when it’s open.
“Designed for ultimate convenience, this versatile crate features a telescopic handle and four wheels, ensuring you can transport your belongings with ease,” Primark said of the trolley on their website.
” Whether for groceries, kids’ toys, or office supplies, this trolley crate is perfect for on-the-go needs. Its foldable design allows for compact storage when not in use, making it a practical addition to any home.

And people in the comments section were quick to weigh in on the new arrival, with many insisting they were desperate to head to their local Primark in search of one.
“OMG no way!” one person commented.
“This will be great for markets!” another said.
“This would be good for those who live in apartments too,” a third wrote.
The Primark New In TikTok page also shared a video of the trolley, showing the cream option.
And once again the comments section was full of people desperate for one of the new arrivals.
“Not a want but a NEED,” one insisted.
“OMG I’m going to get one lol!” another added.
“I need this!!” a third commented.
“Omgggggggggggggg,” someone else screamed.
“Cheaper than Amazon,” another pointed out.
Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

As someone else said that the trolleys were “perfect for people living in cities and walking home with groceries”.
“I’m so old I’m thinking it’s great to put my shopping in from the car,” another said, having had the same idea.
“I have a few of these, brilliant when doing a heavy shop,” a third agreed.
