Rangnick joined United as a caretaker manager back in December of 2021 and maintained the position until May 2022.

The Manchester giants managed a sixth place Premier League finish under his guidance and he was ultimately replaced with Ten Hag.

Ten Hag remains in charge of the club after months of deliberation over his future and is said to be in talks to sign a new contract following his FA Cup final success.
