Occasional Digest - a story for you

XBOX is popular with gamers thanks to its budget-friendly options, starting with the price of the Xbox Series S.

As one of the cheapest home consoles on the market, it’s the perfect choice for those looking to save money.

Another way of saving money is to purchase Xbox Game Pass, which opens you up to a huge library of games.

New games are added to Game Pass every month, meaning that you always have fresh games to play.

However, as new games join the library, older titles must leave, but these are usually not too upsetting.

Most of the games that are removed from Game Pass are older versions that have newer releases, or smaller games with a small player base.

Some of these games are leaving Xbox in the near future, like FIFA 22 and Cricket 22, but there is one game that people are upset about.

F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is a metroidvania action game that has a brilliant 81 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.

People have complimented the blending of genres that offers fun combo-based combat and challenging platforming sections.

Other popular games, such as Story of Seasons – the spiritual successor to Harvest Moon – and Sword and Fairy, are also leaving this month.

Some of these are shorter games, so you still have time to finish them before the deadline if you want.

Here is the list of games that are leaving on June 30.

  • FIFA 22
  • F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch
  • Stranded Deep
  • Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town
  • Sword and Fairy Together Forever

Cricket 22 will also be leaving Xbox Game Pass on July 5.
