Mum concerned teen was ‘taken against his will’
Jay Slater’s mum is worried the teen could have been “taken against his will.”
Debbie Duncan said: “I think he’s been taken against his will with what’s been said, but it’s in the hands of the police.
“It’s just traumatic and it doesn’t feel real. It’s just awful, it’s horrendous.
“He’s just a great person who everyone wanted to be with. He’s good looking, he’s a popular boy.”
Where was Jay Slater last seen?
Jay Slater’s last known location was Teno Rural Park in the north-west of Tenerife – a popular hiking spot for tourists.
Now a desperate police search is underway, with cops and mountain rescue scouring the rugged landscape with drones and police helicopters.

Emotional pal brands disappearance ‘weird and suspicious’
Holding back tears, Jay Slater’s pal Lucy said his disappearance is “weird and suspicious.”
Lucy said today that her friend “isn’t stupid” and he called her from an area “full of hikers” in “broad daylight”.
She added: “Fair enough it didn’t open for another two hours but if that were me I would have sat and waited at the restaurant till it opened.
“As soon as it opened I would have said, ‘Please can you put my phone on charge’ and then I would have rung someone, I would have rung a taxi.
“There’s something weird going on. It is suspicious. In two days you’re telling me someone’s not seen him.”

Police keeping an ‘open mind’ as mammoth search continues
Cops have said they are keeping an “open mind” about Jay’s disappearance on the third day of the mammoth search.
Jay, an apprentice bricklayer from Lancashire, had flown out to Tenerife with friends Lucy and Brad for the 2024 New Rave Generation (NRG) festival which ended on Sunday.
He left a rave on Sunday night with two other men he had just met to go to their apartment, Manchester Evening News reports.
