Almost every game from the Castlevania series is on sale, but we’ve picked out what we think is the best deal.
Our favourite offer from the Xbox sale is for the Castlevania Advance Collection, which includes some of the best games in the series.
The collection includes four games from the Castlevania series that were originally released for the Game Boy Advance.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is the best game in the collection and has an impressive 91 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.
This is the Castlevania game that introduced a number of RPG elements to the series, such as Tactical Soul, where you absorb the souls of enemies to level up.
It also includes additional modes of play such as Hard Mode and New Game+.
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is also included in the collection and is another 91-rated game.
It was a launch title for the Game Boy Advance and is known as the killer app for the console.
This one follows more standard Castlevania gameplay, but was made popular by excellent level design and combat.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Dracula X are also included, and while lower-rated games from the series, are still definitely worth playing for metroidvania fans.
The Castlevania Advance Collection usually costs £15.99/$19.99, but you can grab it for a huge discount during the sale.
It currently is selling for £9.59/$11.99, saving you 40% off its regular price.
Here are all four games available in the Castlevania Advance Collection:
- Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
- Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
- Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
- Castlevania: Dracula X
