Sharing a video of the healing process, Mario captioned the video: “2 weeks post upper and lower blepharoplasty @signatureclinicuk.

“My hooded eye lids have been something I have grown very conscious of over the past couple of years, I blame the kids [laughing emoji], very happy with the results so far! Big thank you to @dr.carlodebbas.”

The NHS defines blepharoplasty as “cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. The surgery changes the look of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags.”

The surgery, which takes between 45 minutes and 2 and a half hours, sees cuts made along the eyelids’ natural lines and excess fat and skin removed.

Post-surgery, Mario’s eye’s were swollen shut and surrounded by suture strips.

But day-by-day the puffiness reduced and the stitching looked less inflamed.

Many of his fans revealed they would like similar work done and were happy to see his work out well.

One person commented: “Oh, this looks tidy! You always look fantastic tho let’s have it right.”

Another said: “Ahh Mario ! This is what I want done!! Excellent results xx.”

A third posted: “Looks amazing – I would love to have the same surgery.”

Another thought he now looked eerily similar to another Towie legend – Dan Edgar.

They said: “From Mario Falcone to Dan Edgar ! Spooky!”

Back in 2016 Mario had secret £5,000 rhinoplasty.

He told The Sun how he decided to go under the knife after being bullied by some of his co-stars.

Mario explained: “I broke my nose playing football when I was 11.

“It didn’t bother me until five years ago when Arg and Diags picked on me about how big it was live on Towie.

“I’m proud of my Italian heritage – our nose is supposed to be a striking feature, like David Gandy.

“But everyone jumped on the bandwagon and I was bullied on social media for years, with people setting up Twitter accounts dedicated to slagging off my nose.”
