Omar was told to snog the islander he thought was the biggest game player and without hesitating, Samantha pointed at Harriett and sneered: “Her.”

Looking horrified, Harriett replied: “Are you joking?”

Samantha told her: “I am only messing. I was being sarcastic and winding you up”, but she rolled her eyes at the same time during the very awkward moment.

Those watching at home think Samantha has taken a dislike to Harriett because she gets on with Joey.

Commenting on the situation, one person wrote:  “Samantha’s despised her ever since she comforted her when her man went in the hideaway with another girl then she done exactly the same thing. To top it off Harriet is Best mates w joey.”

Another remarked on Joey and Harriett’s friendship, saying: “Please why does Joey spend more time with Harriet than Samantha, he’s had enough of Samantha.”

And a third added: “Harriet is gonna love that sam is bothered when she talks to joey.”

Last night viewers watched as Samantha and Joey’s budding romance started to fall apart.

Samantha was keen to find out why Joey wasn’t showing her more affection and then later  wanted to gain some clarity on her connection so pulled him for a chat.

The Liverpudlian said: “I’m not being funny or nothing but you are Joey Essex so I know what girls are like, do you know what I mean.

“They’re going to go ‘oh Joey Essex is in there so they’re going to be like, right, let’s get on Joey Essex’.

Unsure what to make of Samantha’s observation, Joey looked bemused as Samantha quipped back: “They are Joe, I’m not stupid.”

Joey then told Samantha: “If someone is with me for that reason, because I’m Joey Essex, that’s not for me, I promise you, that is not for me.”

Samantha asked: “Well what do you think about me, do you think I’m like that?”

Joey expressed that he doesn’t want to be with a girl who likes his status.

Earlier in the episode, Samantha had quizzed him about an appearance on Celebrity Juice, leaving him feeling very awkward.
