As night falls over the villa, Samantha wants to gain some clarity on her connection with ex-Towie star Joey, 33.

Samantha tells the Essex lothario: “One of our first conversations, I was like, what are you like as a fella and all and you were like ‘proper PDA’ and all that.”
Joey explains: “I am on you as much as you are on me, you know like,” which prompts a surprised Samantha to say: “I always come over to you.”
Joey goes on: “No but I mean, you’re saying that about the cuddling and this and that like, it’s not just me.”
Samantha tells him: “I’ll cuddle you in bed though. I’ll lean over for the cuddle.”
Joey hits back: “What…three minutes. We’ve had some little cuddles.
“It’s baby steps, that’s the truth.”
Samantha shares: “But you told me you’re PDA, full steam ahead and all that. So in my head I’m thinking ‘he’s not like that with me’.”
The pair later later clash again as Joey begins to question Samantha’s true feelings for him.
The Liverpudlian says: “I’m not being funny or nothing but you are Joey Essex so I know what girls are like, do you know what I mean.
“They’re going to go ‘oh Joey Essex is in there so they’re going to be like, right, let’s get on Joey Essex’.
Unsure what to make of Samantha’s observation, Joey looks bemused as Samantha quips back: “They are Joe, I’m not stupid.”
Joey tells Samantha: “If someone is with me for that reason, because I’m Joey Essex, that’s not for me, I promise you, that is not for me.”
Samantha asks: “Well what do you think about me, do you think I’m like that?”
Does Joey doubt Samantha’s intentions?
Last night Samantha revealed she’s a massive Towie fan and quoted famous catchphrases at him such as Gemma Collins’ “You ain’t getting this candy”.
Despite Joey being a show legend, it didn’t appear to fill him with joy.
He made a point of telling the group it was 11 years ago and joked that Samantha had been researching him before entering the villa.
She hit back by saying: “I’m just a big Towie fan, leave me alone.”
Now fans think it’ll be the undoing of their fledgling relationship and suggested she may be using him for fame.
“Joey’s getting the ick from Samantha,” said one. “He’s clocking he’s coupled with a super fan.”
Another said: “Samantha being a Towie fan is giving Joey the ick.”
A third posted: “Joey got the ick as Samantha big Towie fan.”
