Israel’s military said it has rescued four hostages alive from Gaza, eight months after they were taken.
Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andrey Kozlov, 27 and Shlomi Ziv, 40 were taken hostage by Hamas militants from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023.
In a post on social media platform X, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the four hostages were rescued in a special operation from two locations in Nuseirat in Gaza.
“They are in good medical condition and have been transferred to the ‘Sheba’ Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations,” the IDF wrote.
“We will continue to make every effort to bring the hostages home.”
Israeli television has broadcast footage of Noa Argamani being reunited with her father.
Video of her kidnapping surfaced on the internet after the October 7 attacks, showing her being dragged into Gaza by gunmen.
