If you want to dazzle your guests with great dishes this summer you’ll need to be quick before shelves are empty.
Bargain hunters were stunned when they spotted the Blue Dragon light coconut milk reduced from £1.59 to 19p.
From a spicy chicken curry to a fresh pina colada cocktail, coconut milk can be your best friend to create tasty recipes for your summer garden party.
Shopper Marta was ecstatic to find the dinner essential at a great reduction price.
Sharing her purchase on Facebook, she posted pictures of her receipt revealing she got 4 cans of Blue Dragon herself.
Marta wrote: “Spotted in Aldi today. From £1.59 to 19p.”
Fellow Aldi shoppers were stunned with the great bargain and couldn’t wait to snap it up.
One user commented: “Going to see if they have it in my local aldi. I use lots of coconut milk.”
But others weren’t so lucky, with another follower saying: “None in our Aldi unfortunately.”
It comes after Aldi shoppers were eager to get their hands on a £5 buy to brighten up their garden.
Bargain hunters were stunned when they spotted the new air honeycomb solar lights as part of this week’s Specialbuys.
Several savvy shoppers have been overjoyed at their garden buys, taking to social media to show others.
Posting on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, one said: “Love the solar light bought it today!”
Another posted: “Bought this wee light today and I love it.”
Aldi’s solar honeycomb lanterns come in three different colours: pink, rainbow and grey.
They charge throughout the day when in direct sunlight and automatically light up at night.
The lights cost just £4.99 and shoppers can only bag them in-store.
How to save money on your supermarket shop
THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.
You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.
If the food is fresh, you’ll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.
Making a list should also save you money, as you’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.
Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.
This means ditching “finest” or “luxury” products and instead going for “own” or value” type of lines.
Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they’re misshapen or imperfect.
For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.
If you’re on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too.
Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
