Shoppers on the hunt for low-cost tech should always making a point of visiting the deals page on the Amazon website.

Yes, you’ll find discounts on Apple AirPods during big sales like Prime Day and Black Friday, but the retail giant routinely offers slashed prices on devices from lesser-known brands.

No, I’ve never heard of the brand Xinwld either. And no, I’ve no idea how you pronounce that name.

I certainly wouldn’t pick these cut-price earbuds up for the brand prestige – not at the full price of £79.99, anyway.

But at £19.99? As a cheap-as-chips alternative to pricier equivalents from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Bose and Sony? They look decent enough.

Also, if you tick the little voucher box on the product page, you can save a further 15%.

Crucially, they’ve racked up a ton of positive reviews from shoppers on the Amazon website.

‘The sound is brilliant!’ writes one buyer, who gave the buds a five-star verdict. ‘[They’re] super-easy to connect and they fit well into ear without fear of losing.’

One thing that definitely needs flagging is the advertised ‘noise-cancelling’ feature, which is a bit of a cheeky claim.

This isn’t the ANC tech you’ll find in the likes of the AirPods Pro (which currently cost £229 on Amazon) – instead, any noise that gets banished is due to their snug in-ear design.

Shoppers are by and large positive about their battery life, too, which is marked by the brand as an average of 40 hours.

‘The battery life is frankly amazing,’ says another five-star reviewer. ‘Easily double the life of my previous JBL pair which I haven’t used since buying these.’

These aren’t the only big discounts I’ve spotted on Amazon recently: last week I covered a ‘blazing fast’ power bank reduced from £59 to £38 and a ‘life-changing’ robot vacuum cut from £200 to £150.
