The Ultimate Spicy Sausage pizza is returning to menus across the UK from June 10 with Domino’s announcing the move to coincide with the Euros and Olympics.
A number of other spicy treats including loaded fries, twisted doughballs and wraps are also being released alongside a gooey sweet treat set to take all the headlines.
Domino’s have saved the release of the new must-have grub so it is available for sports fans during a hunger-busting summer of relentless sporting events.
The beloved pizza is made using Domino’s legendary ‘Nduja sausage and sun-ripened hot and sweet red jalapeños and salami slices providing a tasty kick.
Aiming to battle against the pizza for the gold medal is the new Spicy Sausage Hot & Cheesy Wrap that features red onions, cheese sauce, mozzarella, spicy ‘Nduja sausage and red jalapeños all packed inside a tortilla.
With Spicy Sausage Twisted Doughballs looking to make the cut and be apart of the final squad heading out for delivery.
Made up of Domino’s dough, Garlic & Herb spread, mozzarella, and spicy ‘Nduja again it is sure to go down a storm.
Looking to create the perfect assist, Domino’s have also launched Spicy Sausage Loaded Fries which sees the contents of the spicy wrap layered over chips.
Louise Pilkington, Director of Innovation at Domino’s said: “When it first launched in 2022, the Ultimate Spicy Sausage was one of our most popular pizzas.
“We quickly realised that footie fans were devouring it at record rates. So, as our home team are getting ready to lift that trophy, we thought we’d bring it back for fans to devour once more.
Domino’s are also looking to find the perfect teammate for the spicy pizza offering by launching a “deliciously delectable” Double Chocolate and Caramel Cookies.
“This time though, we thought we’d throw in a little sweet treat for them to end the match on a high,” Louise continued.
“Our gooey Double Chocolate and Caramel Cookies are deliciously delectable and perfect for sharing.
“We hope our fans love them and will be cheering on those football heroes this summer.”
All of the new summer range is available from Monday June 10, online, through the Domino’s app and in stores across the UK.
But are only being sold for a limited time with them leaving the menu on Sunday, 8 September.
Sports and Domino’s seemingly go hand in hand as two-time Olympic champion Tom James recently revealed he has swapped rowing for pizza as he is now working for the pizza connoisseurs.
The Brit, 39, was part of Team GB‘s quartet that claimed gold in the Coxless fours at the 2008 Games in Beijing.
As 21-year-old Rugby ace Ross Vincent has also been delivering superb performances on the field just like he does for Domino’s.
The future star managed to get himself a seat in Italy’s 2024 Six Nations squad despite being a student with a part-time job at the pizza branch.
