Bargain hunters were stunned when they spotted the new stringy solar lights for less than a fiver.

These super low solar-powered lights are perfect for bringing some ambience to your garden, patio or balcony.

They charge during the day in direct sunshine and light up automatically at night.

The lights cost £4.99 and are exclusively available in-store.

Shopper Nicky seemed extremely pleased with her purchase as she posted pictures of her lit-up garden on Facebook.

She said: “New solar lights purchased today £4.99 a pack plan to go back for more very happy with them.”

Nicky went for two different models to brighten up her outdoor area including a mystic purple shade and another in the classic warm yellow lighting.

Fellow Aldi shoppers were stunned with the great bargain and couldn’t wait to get their hands on them.

One user commented: “I’ll get these today.”

Another said: “They’re really good, went back for more but sold out.”

A third replied: “I love mine.”

It comes after another garden decoration sent Aldi shoppers wild earlier this week.

Bargain seekers were taken aback when they saw the new air honeycomb solar lights among this week’s Specialbuys.

Several astute buyers were thrilled with their garden purchases and took to social media to share with others.

Posting on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, one said: “Love the solar light bought it today!”

Another posted: “Bought this wee light today and I love it.”

Aldi’s solar honeycomb lanterns come in three different colours: pink, rainbow and grey.

The lanterns are part of this week’s extensive garden collection, which also includes ornamental lighting, garden furniture, and lattice planters.

If you want to clean up your garden and take advantage of these great discounts, you’ll need to act quickly.

All of the things are Specialbuys, which means that once sold, they are no longer available.

You may find the items on the main aisle of your local Aldi.

You can browse the full list range on the Aldi website but you can only buy the items in store.

As always make sure you compare prices and shop around for the best deal.

What are Aldi Specialbuys?

Specialbuys are unique and exciting products that you can find exclusively in Aldi stores.

The products are launched in stores every Thursday and Sunday and can include anything from DIY items to beauty products.

You can pick up a leaflet in-store, browse online, or sign up to Aldi’s mailing list to get a sneak preview of what is to come.

There are other ways to save at Aldi and it is always worth keeping a lookout for the many dupes that the retailer launches from time to time.

One Aldi worker recently revealed all the new beauty dupes that have landed in stores.

As well as dupes of branded food items, the retailer also has beauty products and fragrances that sell out as soon as they hit the shelves.
