The makeup artist, from Glasgow, has a knack for finding cheap items that elevate her overall outfit or look more expensive.

In a recent video, she shared the trick she swears by to get her shoes summer-ready.

The 27-year-old picked up some £2.25 ‘Flower Shoe Ornaments’ from Shein which can be attached to any strap on a pair of heels.

Showing off thr transformation on some gold heeled mules, she said: “A cute summer heel hack!! Heels from ASOS, shoe clips from Shein.”

And Carla’s not the only one loving the savvy trick, as the clip-on flowers have racked up a string of five-star reviews.

One shopper gushed: “Lovely quality, look so cute on my heels.”

“I am obsessed with this”, wrote another.

A third chimed in: “So pretty and cheap, looks good on shoes.”

Meanwhile, a fourth insisted: “Super easy to use and doesn’t look cheap on heels.

“Such a fun way to spice up an outfit, love them.”

I’m a professional make-up artist – the cheap £1 items I buy from Shein that makes the most incredible wedding looks

It’s not the first time savvy Carla, who you may recognise from BBC reality show The Agency: Unfiltered, has found a cheap gem on Shein.

We told earlier how she bagged the dream jeans for all her wide-hipped gals – and they’re only £13.

The 27-year-old has previously said it can be hard to find trousers that fit her hourglass figure straight off the rack – and often has to size up just to get the denim over her hips.

“I’m one of those body types that doesn’t fit into a lot of things”, she revealed.

“If you are a wide-hipped gal like myself you’ll know the struggle.”

And if you’re needing some new shoes to try the clips with, Shein — pronounced She-in — has got you covered there too.

Fashionista Taylor Rankine insists the online retailer’s footwear is worth the money.

“You might think I’m crazy, but I literally own over 10 pairs of Shein shoes, and they are literally incredible,” she says.

“They’re all like £8-£16.”

Taylor goes onto say how she also has boots from Shein, adding that most of her “going out shoes” are in fact from the fast fashion retailer.

“They are really comfortable, and they’re really affordable,” she explains. “And, if you mess them up, get them scuffed,
you won’t care about it.

“So 100% Shein shoes are the way to go, guys…I’m not lying, these shoes I’ve also had for over a year.”

What is Shein and is it legit?

Shein is an online-only fast-fashion retailer, based out of China, that has become a number one shopping destination for many around the world.

The company was valued at $66billion in 2023, dwarfing that of popular high street brands Zara and H&M.

The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008, by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.

Shein is a legitimate selling website and is not a phishing scam.

But you may receive a disappointing order or run into shipping issues if you order from the site, according to reviews.

There have been swathes of quality complaints, which makes sense when looking at the price tag.
