BBC viewers were shocked to learn that Vinny’s support for a dying Nish is fake, and he is instead working with his mum Suki Panesar to inherit the Panesar business empire.
Ravi and his children, Avani and Nugget, want to help Nish in his final weeks after finding out he in desperate need of a heart transplant.
Ravi thought he convinced his brother Vinny to give Nish a second chance, as Vinny displayed his loyalty to his dad in the Vic during a run in with a vengeful Suki and Eve.
However, viewers learn that Vinny proclaims were false and is in fact pretending so he can inherit all of Nish’s businesses which he thinks are rightfully his and Suki’s.
But upcoming scenes on the BBC soap will see Ravi become suspicious of Vinny’s true intentions and voices his concerns to Nish.
Nish instructs Ravi to investigate if his youngest son is genuine.
Under Ravi’s questioning, Vinny swears his loyalty and says enough to convince him.
Nish is touched when Ravi pledges to be there for him, no matter what.
Later, at No.41, Vinny and Suki discuss Ravi’s questions and pledge to reclaim the Panesar empire.
Meanwhile, Eve is sickened to see Vinny cosying up to Nish, but Suki quickly shuts her down.
And Priya tries to fish for information after becoming suspicious of Suki and Vinny, but gets nowhere.
In a bid to create some family unity, Vinny invites Suki and Eve to join him, Nish, Ravi and the grandkids for a family meal.
Priya gate-crashes the Panesar family meal and demands to know why she wasn’t invited.
Ravi begs her not to cause trouble and spoil his chance to get close to his dying father.
When Priya blatantly cosies up to Nish, Ravi pulls her up on it, and she accuses them all of trying to manipulate him.
