AN unusual manicure has people talking for all the wrong reasons.

Critics were disgusted by the beauty fail and insisted that it looked like animal waste.

Nail enthusiasts found themselves a little less enthusiastic after seeing the design on a nail-shaming Facebook group.

While a few of the nails on the person’s fingers turned out fine, the same couldn’t be said for the one on their ring finger.

A long, rock-like synthetic material detracted from the silver glitter design on the rest of their nails.

The long, gray stump was also triple the size of their other nails.

Facebook users were shocked by the nail art and were quick to tear it apart in the comments section.

“I feel like spiders are gonna hatch out of it,” said one person.

Others agreed that it reminded them of something gross that would come from an animal.

“It looks like a yucky furball my cat puked up,” said another.

“You know those cool little water bugs that build a stack of rocks stuck to their butts?” asked a third.

“That’s what this looks like.”

Many noted that it looked like a rock — but not the kind you would want on your finger.

“At least shape and clear coat it; thing’s a whole a** rock!” one jokester said.

Commenters questioned if the manicurist must have missed a few steps during their session.

The nail job was so bad that some thought it might be a sign of a potentially dangerous infection.

“Looks fungal,” said one commenter.

Some were too stunned to speak.

“What is even happening?” asked one.

“I’m hella confused,” said another.

“What on earth is even happening?” asked a third.

“Mother of God,” replied one viewer.
