The former Tory leader was seen in shorts and shirt at the store in Didcot, Oxfordshire, before driving off in a people carrier.
A shopper who spotted him said: “I was at B&M in Didcot and my wife said ‘I think that’s Boris Johnson‘ – it was definitely him.
“It was just really interesting to see the ex-Prime Minister shopping at a B&M in Didcot.
“He got in really old car – it was a Toyota Privia.
“You don’t expect to see him in an old car, you expect to see people like that in flash cars – it was a people carrier type of car, so he must use it to carry the kids around.”
Earlier this month we revealed the former PM landed a lucrative deal to star in Paddy Power’s ad campaign for this summer’s Euro 2024 football tournament.
The 59-year-old, who stood down as an MP last year, signed up for the gambling giant’s commercials, which are known to be edgy.
Its recent ads have featured former England striker Peter Crouch and his model wife Abbey Clancy.
And sources say Boris will perform a cameo in an advert for the Euros, which start in Germany next month.
One told The Sun on Sunday: “Landing a character like Boris as part of their Euros campaign is a huge coup and Paddy Power bosses are super chuffed he decided to go for it.”
