With the eyes of the world watching on, Drake will be on tenterhooks after wagering a huge £462,396 ($565,000) on who he thinks will win.

The rap superstar will pocket £789,608 ($1m) should he correctly predict the outcome.

And Drake has put his money on Fury to win tonight’s fight.

The 37-year-old Canadian posted a screenshot of his bet on Instagram for his 146million followers to see.

Drake may be one of the most successful musicians on the planet – but he has developed an unwanted reputation for losing millions as a punter.

Hoping to not make the same mistake this time, he has decided to back a member of the Fury family after losing £350,000 on incorrectly going for Jake Paul to beat Tommy Fury.

Drake also lost £394,000 on a bet on UFC star Israel Adesanya to beat Sean Strickland.

In football, Drake put down a lump sum on Barcelona to beat Real Madrid, with him even sponsoring the Catalan giants‘ shirt for the game.

But Barca ended up losing 3-1 and it cost Drake £500,000.

And the “Drake curse” continued as he lost £820,000 on the 2022 World Cup final.

In F1, he backed Charles Leclerc to win the Spanish Grand Prix in the same year, only for him to retire and see Drake lose £186,000.

The curse has stretched beyond betting as he was pictured with Conor McGregor just before he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

And with footballers Jadon Sancho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before they suffered defeats.

Yet Fury may not be worried by getting Drake’s vote of confidence.

He previously overcame the bad luck charm as he was backed by Drake to beat Deontay Wilder in 2021, which he did.
