According to the 2023 Traffic Congestion Ranking, Lagos has the worst road traffic among cities worldwide. Although many Nigerians believe the city, being Nigeria’s economic capital, is a place where dreams come true, the traffic congestion road users face constantly takes a mental and physical toll on them. For some, the situation is killing workforce productivity. For many others, it’s their prayer that Lagos remains congested with everyday traffic because this is how they get by.
