Ella, 24, enjoyed a relaxing weekend as she took her adorable pomeranian pooch with her for a delightful brunch.
She took to her Instagram story as she shared a sweet image of her dog sitting with her close to the table as she drank her cappuccino.
But fans couldn’t help but take to social media website Reddit as they slammed the star for letting her dog to be so near the drinks.
On the daily Love Island discussion thread, one fan wrote: “I like Ella but does she need to bring her dog to so many public spaces, especially where people are eating?
They continued: “I get it means the dog isn’t at home alone but what about hygiene, people with allergies etc?”
Replying to the post, one fan defended her saying: “I feel like she does it a lot but I also think she makes sure it’s okay when brands invite her or restaurants invite her.
“I even think she alerts the people she’ll be with. I have a friend with a dog and she also doesn’t leave it at home alone and she works from home most days so she can be with the dog or gets somebody to dog sit.”
However, other fans were not so complimentary as they claimed having the dog near food was not necessarily good for others.
Another fan raged: “It’s disgusting. It’s unhygienic idc what anyone says.
“If she was sitting outside, fair enough but nope. and the dog will be on the table and she’ll be feeding the dog from her plate / giving it meat 🤢.”
Whilst someone else echoed: “On the table is a huge problem.”
And a third noted: “It’s still gross to have the dog on the table etc.”
They added: “One thing to be outside and the air is fresh to avoid allergies etc but another to bring the dog inside and feet on linens etc.”
She may be wanting to keep her pet pooch close after the canine was attacked by another dog during a walk in the park.
Ella was left traumatised when she told her fans how a French Bulldog targeted her Pomeranian Nova.
Sharing a series of snapchats, Ella explained: “My poor baby thank god she’s ok. Was walking her at the park and a French bulldog attacked her. Was so so scary, had to pull it all of her. She’s just traumatised.”
She first rose to fame on the tenth series of the hit dating show where she was part of the opening line-up.
In the end, she lasted a full 58 days in the villa as she came in third place along with co-star Tyrique Hyde.
