Sally Sparks shared a list of her favourite things that she found during her two year stint at the job via a video posted to her TikTok channel.
She explained that every year, the rich tenants would move out of the accommodation, and would leave behind bags and bags of clothes, shoes and kitchen ware.
Sally, who is from Glasgow, said that she had permission to take the items, as they were all left on purpose by the students, who were mainly international, and couldn’t take all of them back to their home countries.
She said that she saved some of the items for herself, sent some to the charity shop, and sold other things on Vinted.
“I see it as a bonus for being underpaid”, she joked.
