The supermarket has launched a new online currency exchange service in partnership with Eurochange.
Shoppers will now be able to order currency online and have it delivered to their doorstep or pick it up in-store while they are shopping.
The currency can be collected from one of 50 UK Morrisons Travel Money kiosks.
Morrisons Travel Money kiosks are currently available in towns and cities including
- Bradford
- Leeds
- Sheffield
- St Helen’s
- Edinburgh
- Glasgow
- Nottingham
- London
- Basingstoke
- Hastings
Alternatively, the currency can be collected from one of Eurochange’s 240 branches.
Jamie Winter, procurement, popular & useful services & energy director at Morrisons said: “Morrisons Travel Money with Eurochange will provide our customers with easy access to a wide range of currencies at competitive exchange rates.
“Whether they are headed to Europe, the USA or further afield, our customers can now lock in their rates by ordering online and then pick up their travel money, along with their sun cream and holiday essentials, from our stores.”
How do I order travel money online through Morrisons?
First, head over to morrisonstravelmoney.com and use the currency converter to select the currency you want.
Over 50 different currencies are available including Euros, US and Australian dollars, Turkish lira, yen, dirham, rupees and Thai baht.
You will then need to add your currency to a shopping cart and pay online.
When you buy currency with Morrisons Travel Money, you can choose to click and collect your order or have it delivered to your door.
For home delivery orders, Morrisons can only deliver to the billing address registered to your payment card.
Online, you can order a minimum of £200 worth of currency and a maximum of £2,500 worth.
Click and collect orders can be ready in as little as 60 seconds subject to availability.
For home delivery, if an order is placed before 2:30pm, your currency will arrive the next working day. Weekend delivery is also available.
Which other supermarkets offer travel money services?
Asda also has a Travel Money bureau. You can simply buy online, in-store at one of our nationwide bureaux or over the phone.
Tesco has a travel money service and you can use Cubcards prices to get better deals on your exchanges.
Tesco does free delivery on orders worth £500 or more.
Sainsbury’s bank has a travel money bureau and you can get 0% commission when you buy travel money from any in-store bureau.
Plus you can get an even better exchange rate if you’re a Nectar member.
M&S has a travel money service through M&S Bank. You can use the store calculator to estimate what you’re exchange rate will be.
