So if you’ve got a wedding to attend soon and aren’t sure what to wear, you’ll need to check this out.
The brunette woman took to the community sharing platform Reddit, to show off her outfit of choice.
While many wedding guests may use the opportunity to dress up – with posh frocks and gowns in abundance, this guest intends to wear something a little different.
The young woman shared a mirror selfie of her posing in a black, bandeau jumpsuit, with a white shirt underneath.
But posting on the page r/Weddingattireapproval, the woman admitted that she was unsure with her outfit choice, and asked users if she would look ‘weird’ in the ensemble.

She questioned: “Would I look like a weirdo at the wedding with this jumpsuit on?”
The social media user then added: “I expect most women there to be in a dress.”
REDDITORS REACT
Reddit users rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on the woman’s outfit idea – with many not sold.
Whilst some thought she would get mistaken for being a waiter, others claimed it didn’t suit the ‘black tie’ theme.
Not only this, but others suggested that she keep hunting for a more appropriate choice.

One person said: “You will probably look like the catering staff, honestly.
“It’s a cute jumpsuit, but it really doesn’t look like a good fit for a wedding.”
Another added: “You may be mistaken for a waiter.”
A third commented: “The black and white will have me asking you “where is the bathroom?” because I will think you work at the venue.”

At the same time, another fashion fan claimed: “This is nowhere near black tie.”

Bridal expert reveals the must-have trends for 2024
Event whizz Tsitsi Lynn Makuni claimed that mini gowns, wearing bows for tying the knot and donning bold accessories are among this season’s must-haves for marriage, The Sun reported.
RING THE CHANGES – brides are opting for not one, but two dresses.
HITCH UP THE SKIRTS – short dresses were a huge hit at the Scottish Wedding Show’s October Catwalk and Tsitsi said more bridal boutiques are now offering shorter styles.
BRIGHT NOT WHITE – white and ivory dresses are no longer a given as more designers offer pastel options, and we will see a demand in more bold colours too.
BE BOLD – the accessories, too, will be as bold as our dresses. Expect to see dramatic headbands, pearl-embellished veils, elegant gloves and retro sunglasses.
TAKE A BOW – from small bows on headpieces and shoes to oversized bows on dresses, this is a wedding trend that’s showing no signs of slowing down, the expert revealed.
“And that’s absolutely not black tie.”
Similarly, another Reddit user penned: “Doesn’t fit the dress code at all. Top under it also looks off.”
Whilst others suggested she look for something else to wear, as one Reddit user advised: “This is something I would wear to the office, keep looking!”
