And one of his runners confirmed for the 4m race has been absolutely annihilated in the markets – despite failing to finish Saturday’s Grand National at Aintree.
Mr Incredible unseated jockey Brian Hayes at the 15th fence in the world’s most famous race.
He had been an eyecatching second behind Midlands National winner Beauport before that on his first run following a 336-day break.
And Coral reported a whole load of cash for Mr Incredible to recover from his blunder in time for the Ayr feature.
He is now into 8-1 from 16-1 in the betting.
Coral’s John Hill said: “Mr Incredible’s Grand National bid ended at the Chair at Aintree, but many punters are backing Willie Mullins’ runner to gain compensation at Ayr by winning the Scottish version of the race.
“The Midlands Grand National runner-up’s odds have been slashed in half following the strong support.”
But it’s another Mullins horse who remains strong at the head of the market.
Macdermott is the 6-1 favourite for Coral having won his last race – a 3m chase over heavy at Fairyhouse – by an easy 12 lengths.

Ridden by Danny Mullins that day (April 1) he saw off the 11-4 JP McManus-owned Better Times Ahead comfortably.
Still only six, he has raced just nine times and won twice.
Speaking after his Fairyhouse win, Mullins said: “He’s been running over trips that were too short for him but we couldn’t find races for him.
“Today was the first time he got his ground and trip.
“He’s a horse that I’d be really looking forward to going over extended trips in the future, in some of the those bigger handicaps.
“He could be an Irish National horse or one for Aintree, any of those extended races.”
So Mullins could have put plans on fast-forward in his quest for the trainers’ title.
