The Cuban American actress posted a picture of the cast reunion to her social media page with the caption: “You guys are gonna love the new Wizards Show.”
The series focuses on The Russo family which includes Alex (Selena Gomez) her older brother Justin (David Henrie) and her younger brother Max (Jake T Austin) Living with their Italian-American father and Mexican-American mother, the siblings must keep their magic secret while living in the mortal world.
The hit show also featured a slew of famous faces in guest roles including supermodel Cindy Crawford, actor Austin Butler, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Popular across generations it also marked Selena Gomez’s 31, move from child star to teen idol, a transition that can be difficult to make.
But its not all wizards for Maria Canals Barrera, who has had a successful career in TV and film.
She appeared in TV dramas, 21 Jump Street and Murder She Wrote, as well as appearances in films- America Sweethearts with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Julia Roberts and Larry Crowne with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts respectively.
Away from the cameras, the actress is happily married with two children.
