Michelle posted on X, former Twitter, a clip of her husband with the caption: “What’s happening? OMG the Wheeler Dealer Mike Brewer is having a moment a midlife crisis!”

In a video Mike poses next to his Porsche 912E – no more hidden away in his “secret cave” – as part of a celebration of the upcoming series.

The TV star admits that he’s preparing his fleet for a big sale as he’s seen polishing the top of his vintage ride.

Michelle pokes fun at her spouse, saying he must be going through a midlife crisis.

Mike jokingly replied: “It was either a belly button piercing a tribal tattoo, and I was going to grow a ponytail – that’s one side of the midlife crisis.

“The other one was I’m gonna sell the cars.”

The motor expert didn’t miss a chance to promote his new programme Wheeler Dealers World Tour which will land on screens on April 29 at 9pm.

In order to mark the occasion, the presenter is prepared to bid farewell to two of his beloved cars.

The bulk of Mike’s collection is made up of Porsche models from across some of the brand’s most popular decades.

One of them is a “very rare” 912 E – one of just 2,099 made – which could soon be handed to a lucky new owner.

Another model up for sale is a 1982 Porsche SC, which Mike took on himself as a resto-mod project.

As the car enthusiast looks at his beloved Porsche with adoration, he describes the many perks of the cars.

“We’re gonna sell my hot rod with its EB-manufactured front and rear bumpers,” he explains.

Mike is renowned for his love of cars and has accumulated an impressive collection in his “car cathedral”, which also houses its own workshop.

There’s no doubt that parting ways with his favourite roadsters has been a tough decision to make – which is why fans have been shocked at the announcement.

One fan wrote: “He’s gone mad Michelle, absolutely bonkers!”

Another one added: “You’re getting a lot of stick there, Mike! But stay away from the piercings and tatts please!”

A third person said: “What a pleasure to offer such great cars. Thank you Mike! Let’s find some enthusiasts to enjoy them”

“Not the 912…I haven’t won the lotto yet! Hang onto it for me, please…” someone else wrote.

Wheeler Dealers World Tour is set to document the team’s global travels, hunting down some of the best and most interesting cars on the planet.

The spin-off programme will launch on Discovery+ following Warner Bros announcement that MotorTrend+ was being discontinued.

Fans will now be able to access the content on Discovery+ in the UK and HBO Max in the US instead.
