Shoppers are currently dashing to buy the Hisense 43-Inch A6KTUK 4K TV, which has been reduced from £429 to £219.
Hisense 43-Inch A6KTUK 4K TV, £219 (was £429)
I spotted this cheap-as-chips television on Amazon’s best-selling TVs page earlier today.
Hisense is a reputable big-name brand – but clearly, it’s the massive 49% discount that’s made it such a big hit with shoppers.
Given the ever-expanding sizes of televisions, I feel like TVs of this size are often undervalued and passed over these days.
Yes, the market is filling up with increasingly affordable 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch sets – but never buy a TV with a ‘bigger is definitely better’ mentality.
If you do plan to buy big, you need to ensure you’ve got enough space to truly appreciate the screen – read my what size TV to buy explainer for an in-depth guide.
The 43-inch screen on the Hisense A6K makes it an excellent choice for bedrooms, smaller living rooms and even kitchen countertops.
On top of the 4K Dolby Vision picture, it comes armed with a Pixel Tuning function that automatically tweaks and fine-tunes the colours and contrast of whatever you’re watching in real-time.
Anything that’s not already 4K in quality gets automatically upscaled.
The built-in VIDAA smart platform is where you’ll get central access to Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer and all the other typical apps and services.
It’s also Alexa-compatible with a tap of the mic button on the remote, you can also simply order the TV to change channels, play a particular show on Netflix, and the like.
Shoppers on Amazon have given this an average rating of 4.4 out of 5, with reviews that are overwhelming positive.
‘This is an excellent 4k smart TV,’ writes one buyer. ‘Probably the easiest smart TV I’ve ever set up, no hassle at all.
‘It’s got a nice clear crisp display , [the] colours are brilliant, natural- looking, vibrant, especially when watching in 4K.
The picture quality is as good as TVs double the price.’
Another shopper writes: ‘Simple really: for a little over £200 you get a TV other brands happily sell for £400. It’s got everything and more you’d expect from a smart TV.’
Amazon tends to be quite unpredictable with its discounts, so anybody thinking of picking up this TV for nearly half the price should act quickly.

The last knockout TV deal I spotted was during Amazon’s spring sale, when the 50-inch Toshiba UF3D 4K Fire TV was reduced to £289 – interestingly, it’s still on offer.
