Rosalie (@joandidiot) shared the skincare recipe in a viral TikTok video.

After she prepositioned her mom for concealer to cover up her blemishes, her mom revealed the skincare hack that keeps pimples at bay.

“My mom gave me her really fancy concealer but only under the condition that I use her witch sludge on my face to treat the acne that I’m trying to cover,” she said.

Rosalie, with her hair up in a bun, applied a brown treatment on her acne spots and let it marinate.

In another video, she revealed her mom’s simple two-ingredient recipe.

In a bowl, she combined raw unpasteurized manuka honey and cinnamon.

Rosalie explained the two ingredients were anti-microbial, which kills bacteria on the skin.

After mixing the two ingredients to form a paste, she left the mask on for 15 minutes.

“It will drip and it tastes kind of good,” she said.

Thanks to the cinnamon, the mask also acts as a gentle exfoliant that helps smooth out the skin.

“Honey and cinnamon together reduce inflammation/is antibacterial,” she added.

For mild breakouts, she turned to the mask for a quick and easy solution.

Rosalie urged viewers to seek professional help for their more urgent skin needs.

“I still sought dermatologist care,” she added.

A few viewers raved about the mask’s potency and effectiveness.

“I’ve used this before! It actually did help mine a lot,” said one commenter.

“Woah, I’ve been using this for like a year without knowing it’s actually ‘witch sludge’ haha,” said another.

“I stand by this. Been doing this since high school,” said a third.
