LABOUR will be the next government, Wes Streeting boasted today.

The Shadow Health Secretary said he’ll lead a cross-party push on Social Care after the election.

He added “whether or not the Conservative Party will be in a reasonable state to have a reasonable conversation I don’t know.”

Earlier tonight the Tories hit back: “Sir Keir Starmer thinks the British people have already voted Labour into government and now he’s measuring the curtains.”

And Streeting will take YOUR questions on The Sun’s Never Mind the Ballots, Wednesday at 7pm.

You can submit your question on the future of the NHS under Labour – or anything else – by emailing: readerquestions@the-sun.co.uk.

Last week’s Never Mind the Ballots saw Rishi Sunak promise to quit the European Convention of Human Rights if it would be what it takes to stop small boats.

He said: “I come from a family of immigrants – and I think this will always be a welcoming, compassionate country – but that has to be done fairly, it has to be done legally.

“We are a people who wait their turn, pay their fair share, play by the rules, and this offends every one of those notions. That’s why it’s so important that we grip it.

“And the choice at the next election is who is more likely to grip this problem. Is it me or is it Keir Starmer?

“I can tell you I will get this thing done for everyone, especially all your Sun readers.”

Produced by News Studios, Never Mind The Ballots airs every week on thesun.co.uk and The Sun’s YouTube channel – which has nearly five million subscribers.

In the inaugural show, Labour leader Sir Keir revealed he had big plans to “fix the country” in the coming decade.

And when shown polling data that claimed many Brits saw him as untrustworthy, he insisted: “I’m in the camp of saying look, what I don’t want to have is a situation where, after the election, we are breaking our promises.”
