6-1 A Pint of Bear came in second.
Absolute Dream, Carry on Aitch, Gordonstoun, Kimifive and Mudlahhim all completed the course after the waving of the flag and were withdrawn.
Oriental Spirit, Port Noir, Ravenglass and Swiss Rowe all pulled up but were also withdrawn.
Winning jockey Rossa Ryan called it in a “one in a million event”.

The broadcaster shouted down the microphone “stop, stop, stop” as the chaos unfolded.
