Shakira (@beingwellishot) shared the recipe in an Instagram post.

She explained that your meals often “reflects” your skin and your health.

Shakira quickly threw together a chopped salad packed with omega 3s, collagen, and proteins on her cutting board, adding arugula sprouts, peppers, and pickled radishes to her greens.

To improve her hormones and gut health, she made sure the peppers and radishes were pickled.

With a knife, she diced and chopped the ingredients into fine pieces.

“The gut holds about 70 percent of our serotonin, our happy hormones, so always eat for happiness, for beauty, there’s so many reasons to eat well,” she said.

She added in pickled sauerkraut, chives, salt and olive oil.

Once all the ingredients were finely diced, she grabbed two pieces of toast, buttering one slice with vegan cream cheese and the other with hummus.

Shakira layered the fermented greens over the toast and finished off with some sardines and balsamic vinegar.

The sandwich, she explained, was also rich in fiber to improve skin wounds and quicken the acne healing process.
