The cake is the lates addition to the M&S Foodhall as part of its “Easter Edition”.
The giant retailer has announced it is bringing back the beloved Chocolate Bouche Cake and it is going down a storm with sweet-toothed shoppers.
Taking the Facebook, a spokesperson said: “Back by popular demand our limited-edition Chocolate Bouche Cake!
“Hand rolled chocolate sponge cake filled with a rich chocolate buttercream, topped with Easter egg sprinkles and a white chocolate egg. How amazing does that sound?”
The hand-rolled chocolate sponge cake boasts rich chocolate buttercream, Easter egg sprinkles and a white chocolate egg.
The retailer urged customers to rush to their nearest M&S branch to nab a slice this Easter Sunday.
The post added: “Pop down to your local M&S Cafe and grab a slice, you won’t want to miss out.”
The post has already gathered thousands of likes from fodies – with hundreds flocking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
Chocolate lovers praised the Easter-edition cake dubbing it “absolutely delicious”.
A shopper said: “Looks and sounds amazing, wish I was going to M&S today.”
Another added: “I could eat that entire thing in one sitting and not feel bad about it.”
A third wrote: “Had it already! Beautifully moist and indulgently chocolate. Haven’t seen the coffee and walnut for a while though.”
Although users were left delighted by the announcement, many shared the same complaint.
The Chocolate Bouche Cake will only be available at M&S Cafe and not in-stores.
Many were left disappointed and begged the retailer to bring the item to its isles.
One wrote: “How can you only have this in the cafe and not for sale in the shops? I’m sure it would be a best seller.”
Another cried: “Please make one to buy in store next year!”
A third said: “Marks and Spencer thank you, maybe we’ll see it on the shelves next Easter.”
A fourth cried: “I would definitely buy one of these if they were on sale in the shop!”
It comes as the retailer launched a “super-sized hot cross bun cake” which has all the features of the traditional Easter treat – just with a twist.
The new Easter treat has all of the traditional flavours that you would expect to find in an M&S hot cross bun – just in a cake.
