Le Vell who has played mechanic Kevin Webster on the show for more than 40 years, has landed a job showing fans around the cobbles as part of their ‘All Star Tours.’

ITV bosses have a lined up a slew of the soaps best loved faces to bring the £45 a head guided tour of the Salford studios to life for those diehard fans.
The tours will take place at weekends so as not to interfere with filming and Le Vell, who will pose for selfies and chat along with punters, will also be paid a nice bonus on top of his £170k a year salary.
As revealed by The Sun last year, Corrie actors Andy Whyment and Simon Gregson are also on the tour rota, having signed up for the chance to boost their paydays.
At 59 Michael Le Vell’s popularity has soared to an all time high in the last few years, so much so that bosses have offered him a big money contract to keep him on the cobbles for the foreseeable future.

Michael was suspended from the show in 2013 while he fought sex offence charges, but returned in 2014 when he was found not guilty.
Later that year he took some time off to deal with personal issues, including alcoholism and cocaine use, but has remained on the soap ever since.
