Abigail (@designingabigail) shared the home transformation in a TikTok video.
She laid down a towel and a “Hello” welcome mat and then got to work putting up Easter egg decor on her pink door.
Abigail attached hooks to her wall shingles and hung rattan baskets filled with colorful flowers.
She also “planted” stuffed carrots and pastel-colored plastic Easter bunnies in the flowerboxes outside her window.
Green grass confetti added a nice final touch to the Easter “garden.”
With Rust-Oleum, she spray-painted a green bucket pastel blue, stuffing it with paper bags to add height on the inside.
With a giant pastel ribbon, she tied it around the bucket and finished the display off with pink stuffing and large stuffed Easter bunnies.
Although the final look looked elaborate and expensive, she explained that the project cost her under $30.
“Almost everything was from Dollar Tree,” she revealed.
One commenter asked how she managed to paste the egg decor up on her door without damaging the frame.
“Just regular command strips!” she replied.
The eggs were yard stakes from Dollar Tree that I very easily popped the stake off of before hanging.”
Others were impressed by her creative and affordable holiday project.
